Castelnuovo Berardenga, a nord est di Siena, è uno dei comuni dell’areale tradizionale del Chianti. Proprio qui, non lontano dalle mura antiche di San Gusmè, si aprono i paesaggi vinicoli di Boschetto Campacci, la cantina che “ha il Chianti in testa”.
La cantina è di recente costituzione. Un progetto nato nel 2016, frutto di una passione che oggi si poggia su 22 ettari in un contesto dove l’armonia del paesaggio e la sua storia esprimono l’amore dell’uomo per questi luoghi fin dagli antichi etruschi.
Da un grande amore, sbocciato nelle lunghe passeggiate sulle stradine bianche del Chianti, ai tempi dell’università, nasce così la storia di questa azienda. Il sogno di Luigi Frascino, imprenditore di successo nel settore finance (Credit Network & Finance, servicer specializzato nella gestione di crediti in sofferenza attivo su tutto il territorio italiano, fondato e guidato insieme al fratello Angelo), diventa ricerca e recupero di luoghi antichi: casali in pietra e terreni coltivati a vite e olivo, una sfida affrontata con coraggio, avvalendosi della consulenza di un enologo di fama internazionale come Riccardo Cotarella.
La grande parte delle superfici vitate, nel rispetto dell’antica tradizione vitivinicola del Chianti Classico, è composta da viti antiche sapientemente recuperate e nuovi impianti di Sangiovese, mentre altre piccole particelle sono invece destinate ad uve Canaiolo, Colorino e Merlot.
Nel 2023 la giovane cantina Boschetto Campacci ha prodotto circa 14mila bottiglie destinate principalmente al mercato internazionale. Il Ruello Chianti Classico Riserva, è il prodotto di punta della tenuta.

Il Ruello 2019 ha vinto il premio “L’esordio vincente 2024” di Doctor Wine. Il riconoscimento è stato consegnato al patron Luigi Frascino dal giornalista enogastronomico di fama internazionale Daniele Cernilli durante la presentazione della guida essenziale ai vini d’Italia 2024.
Il premio - dedicato a un vino uscito sul mercato per la prima volta con un risultato straordinario – ha voluto riconoscere la qualità del prodotto. Matura 24 mesi in tonneaux di rovere francese e ungherese di primo passaggio. L’affinamento in bottiglia è di minimo 9 mesi prima di essere presentato sul mercato.
All’aspetto si presenta di un colore rosso rubino lucente. Rivela subito una ricercata complessità con profumi di frutta rossa come amarena, prugna, mora, accompagnati da fiori, viola mammola e iris e condito da spezie dolci, note di liquirizia e tabacco toscano e un tocco finale di agrifoglio che caratterizzano un naso armonioso e variegato.
Al palato la struttura tannica è armonica, tannini succosi, rotondi e vellutati sono sostenuti da un’acidità fresca e vibrante. Il corpo è pieno e materico con finale lungo e di bella sapidità dove il protagonista torna a essere il terreno con tutta la sua minealità che in bocca si trasforma in una bella sapidità. Ha polpa e ampiezza e il sorso risulta facile e piacevole. Eccellente.

Castelnuovo Berardenga, north-east of Siena, is one of the municipalities in the traditional Chianti area. Right here, not far from the ancient walls of San Gusmè, the wine landscapes of Boschetto Campacci open up , the winery that "has Chianti in its head".
The cellar is just over a year old. A project born in 2020, in the midst of the greatest health crisis of the modern era, the fruit of a passion that today rests on 22 hectares in a context where the harmony of the landscape and its history express man's love for these places since the ancient Etruscans.
The history of this company was born from a great love, which blossomed during long walks on the white roads of Chianti, during my university days. The dream of Luigi Frascino, a successful entrepreneur in the finance sector (Credit Network & Finance, a servicer specialized in the management of non-performing loans active throughout Italy, founded and led together with his brother Angelo), becomes research and recovery of ancient places: stone farmhouses and land planted with vines and olive trees, a challenge faced with courage, making use of the advice of an internationally renowned winemaker such as Riccardo Cotarella.
The large part of the vineyard areas, respecting the ancient winemaking tradition of Chianti Classico, is made up of expertly recovered ancient vines and new Sangiovese plantings, while other small parcels are instead destined for Canaiolo, Colorino and Merlot grapes.
In 2023 the young Boschetto Campacci winery produced around 14 thousand bottles destined mainly for the international market. The Ruello Chianti Classico Riserva is the flagship product of the estate.

The 2019 Ruello won Doctor Wine's “Winning Debut 2024” award. The award was presented to patron Luigi Frascino by the internationally renowned food and wine journalist Daniele Cernilli during the presentation of the essential guide to the wines of Italy 2024.
The award - dedicated to a wine released on the market for the first time with an extraordinary result - was intended to recognize the quality of the product. Matured for 24 months in first passage French and Hungarian oak barrels. Bottle refinement lasts for a minimum of 9 months before being presented on the market.
In appearance it has a shiny ruby red color. It immediately reveals a refined complexity with aromas of red fruit such as black cherry, plum, blackberry, accompanied by flowers, sweet violet and iris and seasoned with sweet spices, notes of liquorice and Tuscan tobacco and a final touch of holly which characterize a harmonious and varied nose .
On the palate the tannic structure is harmonious, juicy, round and velvety tannins are supported by a fresh and vibrant acidity. The body is full and material with a long and beautifully flavorful finish where the protagonist returns to being the soil with all its minerality which transforms into a beautiful flavor in the mouth. It has pulp and breadth and the sip is easy and pleasant. Excellent.
