CHRONICON CERASUOLO D’ABRUZZO DOC 2023
CHRONICON PECORINO DOC ABRUZZO 2023
CHRONICON ABRUZZO PASSERINA DOC 2023

CHRONICON MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO DOC 2021
This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo represents a perfect expression of the Abruzzo region, known for its ability to produce red wines with strong personality and great pleasure. This wine is famous for its robust structure, its well-balanced tannins and a gustatory persistence that captures attention from the first sip.
The color is a deep ruby red, with reflections that tend to purple. Ample aroma that opens with floral notes of violet and fruity notes of plums, cherry jam. Tertiary hints of undergrowth, blueberry, currant and jujube emerge. The sip is fluid, drinkable, without frills, sanguine and moderately tannic, slender in the precise and refreshing finish, slightly bowed on the bottom.
CHRONICON CERASUOLO D'ABRUZZO DOC 2023
Cherry pink in color, intense and bright to the eye. Immediately bringing it to the nose you can perceive hints of red fruit, currant and strawberry that persist, elegantly combining with nuances of pomegranate and ginger and very fine floral notes that recall Alchermes and rose water.
Smooth and lively on the palate, it is played on a beautiful fresh-savoury texture, which combined with the aroma creates a pleasant balance and an interesting persistence. When drinking it, you find all the fruit of the perfumes. It tastes of pomegranate, blackcurrant and the mineral note tending to salty. Another sip and the alchermes returns, also bringing out a delicate tannin with a citrus finish: mandarin and bitter orange. We could define it as a “tie” cherry, fine and elegant, which without having lost its beautiful territorial character, ties to the traction in a much fresher and more dynamic guise.
CHRONICON PECORINO DOC ABRUZZO 2023
A grape variety that is usually always grumpy, in this version, dresses itself in taste elegance with the soft note of the fruit with an almost soft and juicy finish.
In the glass it presents itself with a straw yellow hue, brilliant to the eye. On the nose the first approach is very intense with hints of bergamot in evidence, but after a few minutes, the typical citrus notes appear, with nuances of hydrocarbon tending to sulphurous that gradually dissolves evolving into notes of aromatic herbs and a persuasive background of white flowers such as elderberry and hawthorn. The initial aromas, then, veer towards notes of pineapple, Willams pear, passion fruit.
In the mouth there is a strong sensation of very insistent lemon, associated with fresh mandarin. The salty sip is surprising, soaked in fruit and minerality. At the next sip, pineapple and passion fruit emerge again, also found on the nose, giving softness and elegance. Overall very pleasant and balanced.
CHRONICON ABRUZZO PASSERINA DOC 2023
It matures in steel tanks with subsequent refinement in the bottle. Usually put on sale in the spring following the harvest.
Straw yellow with golden reflections. Fragrant nose of white flowers and enriched by very ripe yellow pulp fruit such as golden apple, nectarine peach, citron peel and a lively floral of wisteria and jasmine. After appropriate oxygenation the wine changes register revealing memories of dried fruit, hazelnut in particular, and slightly smoky touches in a crescendo of complexity.
On the palate, freshness is not long in coming, it is the protagonist and carries with it much of the still partially unexpressed flavor, in addition to a nice citrus coherence that encourages drinking. The final menthol note balances the sip and makes you finish the bottle.
